Website Privacy Policy 6/30/12
Last revised: January 09, 2013

This document states the website privacy policy that The William Margrabe Group, Inc. ("The Group", "we", "us", "our"), owner and operator of

applies to these listed websites. This statement explains how we collect, retain, protect, and use your personal information.

  1. Suppose that you send us correspondence via email (such as, via our contact page), Twitter, Facebook, U.S.P.S., Federal Express, UPS, DHL, etc. All correspondence becomes our property. Think of it as similar to sending a letter to the editor of a newspaper, or writing to Bill O'Reilly. ("Name and town, name and town, and don't be a 'quidnunc'.")  If you want a response, or even for someone to read your correspondence, you should include complete contact information that we could verify. We may publish your statement or question, or paraphrase it. If so, we may publish your name and town, name and employer, name and school, etc. We may make for you a pen name and affiliation, such as "Bob, from Denver". (That's a pun. The late Bob Denver was a comedic actor.) You may see examples of our past responses at www.margrabe.com, under the heading, "Ask Dr. RiskTM", but our policy and practice may evolve.
  2. DISCLAIMER: We are using some services of GoogleTM, YahooTM, etc., such as our search engine, gmail, and placement of advertising. We do not know what personal information they may gather. You have complete control. If you are concerned, don't use our services that use their services.
  3. We may collect information to enable us to analyze how our visitors use this site. This data would enable us to become more familiar with how people visit our site. We would use this information to improve our web site's offerings. We would collect this information, automatically, requiring no action on your part. If you don't want this, you should not visit this web site.
  4. Use of Cookies and Tracking User Traffic
Some pages on this site may use “cookies”—small files that the site places on your hard drive for identification purposes. A cookie file can contain information such as a user ID to track the pages visited, but the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. 5. Some parts of the site may also use cookies to track user traffic patterns. This is in order to determine the usefulness of our web site information to our users and to see how effective our navigational structure is in helping users reach that information. Please note that cookies cannot read data off of your hard drive. Your Web browser may allow you to be notified when you are receiving a cookie, giving you the choice to accept it or not. We do not share your personal information outside The Group, without your permission, except under conditions listed below:

  • You ask us to provide you with a product or service. You consent to our sharing your information with a third party, working on our behalf to serve you.
